Basically, I practiced my creepy stalkery skills and found a bunch of awesome artists that I already stalk on the interweb. steam-pilot, piggyhoho, mou-s, etc. I also used the pretence of an art trade and got a bunch of their art. I've finished it, that mafia pic. Granted, it involved staying up for the whole night after anime club meeting and a good solid almost 12 hours of conversation with friends (flames05 and xtwilightzx, and others) in their resident dorm room while CGing, but it's done nonetheless.
